03/05/2010 - unforgettable birthday party slash karaoke battle with close friends and family. this is the first time a picture was taken of me with all of the family members. won’t forget. love it!
forgive me as i indulge in a bit of self-congratulations. the 3rd season of the front act show is scheduled to air come may 22, 2010 solar tv channel 9 (channel 14 on local cable). not my show of course, but the show’s media kits, promotions and what-nots feature shots taken by me…including this opening credit vid. *yayyy!!**
27/04/2010 - just got back from my wedding gig in bicol. unforgettable shiz!
rundown of things:
1) 13-hour bus ride that got me immobilized for 2 nights (i kid you not! and i thought i was gonna die of muscle spasms ~ collapsed 4 times! thanks to my peeps for helping out. loves ya!)
2) preparations seemed endless! i’ve covered weddings in the past but i haven’t been this involved with wedding preps. i salute wedding coordinators.
3) my assistant photog was my nephew ken, who did a fabulous job taking shots. btw i paid him.
4) never thought that dating a stranger could be fun!
5) bicol was fab, well almost ~ if not only for those rotational power outages…
6) i’m definitely going back to bicol, but i am effing taking the plane.
7) i’m the oldest in my team. after the gig - it’s decided. i’m the posse’s “dad” because i am the one with “wisdom.” (suuure) now let’s get plastered, my children!
18/04/2010 - another studio shoot with producer lani sioson ~ this time with upcoming singers nicole rex and april delos santos. ^^ thank heavens it didn’t last til early evening (started early in the arvo).
2 things i realised in this shoot: 1) having worked in several fashion shoots, i have become more anal about the outfits and the makeup. good thing i didn’t rattle the stylist with several outfit changes. 2) i can definitely work even if i am hung over.
17/04/2010 - the thought of reunions make me cringe. good thing i got forced into attending one ~ this is me with my 3rd year high school classmates. some are single, some are married, some knocked up, some happy with their careers. i never realised how much i missed many of them til i got to see them ~ after 16 years.
10/04/2010 - mags is back in manila! not for a vacation though, but i did spend time with her, and some of our friends. missed her! this photo was taken during joriel’s party. girl got hitched (and she’s preggers too) so congrats, sister!
Hah! This cracked me up and at the same time, made me think “hmmm… that makes sense!”
